Fitch Lowers Avon's (AVP) Long-Term Ratings to 'BB'; Places on Rating Watch Negative
November 4, 2013 12:27 PM ESTFitch Ratings has downgraded Avon Products, Inc.'s (NYSE: AVP) long-term ratings and placed the following on Rating Watch Negative:
--Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to 'BB' from 'BB+';
--Bank credit facility to 'BB' from 'BB+ ';
--Bank Term Loan to 'BB' from 'BB+';
--Senior unsecured notes to 'BB' from 'BB+'.
In addition, Fitch has affirmed Avon's and its subsidiary's short-term (ST) ratings as follows:

--Short-Term IDR at 'B';
--Commercial Paper at 'B';

Avon Products, Inc. (AVP) Misses Q3 EPS by 5c
October 31, 2013 7:02 AM EDTAvon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP) reported Q3 EPS of $0.14, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.45 billion.
