* Portugal Telecom, SGPS, S.A. (NYSE: PT), Oi S.A. (NYSE: OIBR), AG Telecom Participações S.A., LF Tel S.A., and their respective affiliates have today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) setting out the basis for a proposed merger of PT, Oi and the Oi Holding Companies (as defined below) into a single Brazilian incorporated listed entity.
