OMNOVA Solutions Continues Year-Over-Year Earnings Growth in 2017 First Quarter

First Quarter 2017 Highlights
Reported earnings per diluted share was $0.08, compared with a loss of $0.03 last year. Adjusted Diluted Earnings Per Share was $0.05, up from $0.04 a year ago, and the eighth consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth. Segment operating profit for the quarter was $14.2 million, up from $10.4 million last year. Adjusted Segment Operating Profit rose 3.5%, to $14.8 million. (See Tables A and B.) This was Performance Chemicals' eighth consecutive quarter of year-over-year improvement in Adjusted Segment Operating Profit.
