The Buckle, Inc. Reports Second Quarter Net Income
August 19, 2016 7:00 AM EDTKEARNEY, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Buckle, Inc. (NYSE: BKE) announced today that net income for the fiscal quarter ended July 30, 2016 was $15.5 million, or $0.32 per share ($0.32 per share on a diluted basis).
Net sales for the 13-week fiscal quarter ended July 30, 2016 decreased 10.1 percent to $212.2 million from net sales of $236.1 million for the prior year 13-week fiscal quarter ended August 1, 2015. Comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended July 30, 2016 decreased 10.8 percent from comparable store net sales for the prior year 13-week period ended August 1, 2015.
