Alcoa (AA) Enters Agreement to Commercialize Micromill Technology
September 14, 2015 4:04 PM EDTAlcoa (NYSE: AA) announced it will commercialize its breakthrough Micromill technology, working with the Danieli Group, a global supplier of plants and equipment to the metals industry. Danieli will license Alcoas intellectual property associated with manufacturing advanced Micromill® products. In a separate announcement made earlier today, Alcoa and Ford Motor Company said that the automaker has selected Micromill material to be used on its 2016 Ford F-150 truck.

Alcoa (AA) Announces Curtailment of Remaining Suralco Refining Capacity
September 14, 2015 8:03 AM EDTLightweight metals leader Alcoa (NYSE: AA) today announced the curtailment of Suralcos remaining 887,000 metric tons per year of alumina refining capacity as discussions continue with the Government of Suriname on preserving the countrys bauxite and refining industry.
