Rite Aid Reports Same Store Sales for July
July 30, 2015 8:30 AM EDTCAMP HILL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) today announced sales results for July.
Monthly Sales
For the four weeks ended July 25, 2015, same store sales increased 2.4 percent over the prior-year period. July front-end same store sales increased 0.1 percent. Pharmacy same store sales, which included an approximate 221 basis points negative impact from new generic introductions, increased 3.4 percent. Prescription count at comparable stores increased 0.7 percent over the prior-year period.
Total drugstore sales for the four-week period increased 2.1 percent to $2.016 billion compared to $1.975 billion for the same period... More
