- Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: HOV) high of $4.19. Hovnanian also moving higher on strong housing numbers today. Shares rose as much as 10.9 percent to the new mark.
- Bank Of New York (NYSE: BK) high of $24.89. Earlier, BoNY reported third-quarter EPS of 59 cents, beating expectations by 5 cents.
- Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG) high of $5.64. Kite priced an underwritten public offering, 10,500,000 additional shares of its common shares of beneficial interest at a public offering price of $5.20 per share.
- Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) low of $21.26. Intel hit as investors price in lagging PC demand and trimmed supply chain inventories following Q3 results. EPS of 58 cents and revs of $13.46 billion beat views, but were still notably lower from the same period lat year. For more color, click here.
- Check Point Software (Nasdaq: CHKP) low of $40.92. Check Point had strong third-quarter numbers, but fourth-quarter EPS guidance of 83 cents to 91 cents failed to drive investor confidence. The Street is modeling Q4 EPS of 90 cents.
- Apollo Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) low of $21.76. Apollo topped Q4 EPS expectations by 3 cents, but issued lackluster guidance. Click here for more color.
- ITT Educational Services Inc. (NYSE: ESI) low of $27.56. ITT lower on Apollo numbers today. Shares are down 7 percent to the new mark Wednesday.
