Silence Therapeutics launches $150 million ADS public offering
Silence Therapeutics plc, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has announced a proposed underwritten public offering of approximately $150 million of its American Depositary Shares (ADSs) in the United States, according to a press release from the company.
Each ADS represents three ordinary shares of £0.05 in the capital of the company. Silence Therapeutics is the sole seller of the ADSs in the offering.
The company intends to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the total number of ADSs offered at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
Jefferies, Morgan Stanley, Cantor, and William Blair are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering.
The offering is being made pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on May 18, 2026, and declared effective on May 27, 2026. The offering is subject to market and other conditions.
Silence Therapeutics develops short interfering RNA therapies and is listed on the Nasdaq exchange.
