Tenable adds application security data to its exposure platform

Tenable Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TENB) announced the expansion of its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform on July 15, 2026, adding application security risk data alongside existing enterprise exposure information.

The update integrates static code vulnerability data into Tenable One, combining it with data from endpoint protection, cloud security, vulnerability management, and operational technology security tools. The platform also pulls in business context from configuration management databases and supports integrations with AI application security tools, including Claude Security.

Application security data integrations are now available to all existing Tenable One customers.

"Bringing application security data into Tenable One, we're giving our customers the context they've been missing," said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable. "Security teams don't need to wade through a sea of vulnerabilities. With Tenable One, security teams know exactly where they are exposed the moment an exposure is created."

According to a April 2026 report by the Cloud Security Alliance AI Safety Initiative, the use of generative AI has enabled developers to ship code three to four times faster, while potentially introducing flaws at ten times the rate. Tenable cited this dynamic as a factor driving the platform expansion.

Tenable states it serves more than 40,000 customers globally.
