Innoviz Technologies (NASDAQ: INVZ) announced the launch of Perciz, a dedicated brand targeting defense and homeland security applications, according to a company statement released July 14, 2026.
Perciz will offer Innoviz's existing automotive-grade LiDAR sensors to government agencies, defense contractors, system integrators, and security technology partners. Target applications include perimeter security, critical infrastructure protection, counter-unmanned aerial systems, border security, force protection, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.
The new brand does not involve new product development. Instead, Innoviz will apply its commercially available LiDAR platform — the same technology selected by BMW, Volkswagen, Mobileye, and Daimler Truck — to defense and security use cases.
"Defense and homeland security organizations are confronting a rapidly evolving environment where threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, autonomous, and unpredictable," said Omer Keilaf, founder and CEO of Innoviz. "Our goal is to provide our centimeter-level 3D positioning to enable security solutions that can operate with greater awareness, precision, and confidence in the most demanding environments."
Innoviz, headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, operates across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The company said Perciz will function as a standalone brand within Innoviz's broader portfolio, which also serves automotive, industrial, and smart infrastructure markets.
