ITT adds two former CEOs to its board of directors

ITT Inc. (NYSE: ITT) announced the election of Bertrand Loy and Kevin Wheeler to its board of directors, with both appointments effective August 1, 2026.



Loy is Executive Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer of Entegris, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTG), where he served as CEO from 2012 to 2025 before becoming Executive Chairman. He also serves as an independent director of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH). Loy holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School in France.



Wheeler is Executive Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer of A. O. Smith Corporation (NYSE: AOS), a water technologies manufacturer operating in more than 60 countries. He held the CEO role from 2018 to 2025 and transitioned to Executive Chairman in 2025 after more than 30 years with the company. He also serves as an independent director of Graco Inc. (NYSE: GGG).



The ITT board also appointed Loy to its Audit Committee and Wheeler to its Nominating and Governance Committee, both effective August 1, 2026.



ITT Chair of the Board Nazzic S. Keene said the appointments "reflect our disciplined approach to board refreshment and our focus on adding directors with capabilities and skillsets aligned with the strategic direction and business goals of ITT."



ITT is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, and operates across the transportation, industrial, and energy markets through three segments: Flow Technologies, Motion Technologies, and Connect & Control Technologies.
