Bridgeline Digital signs industrial distributor for AI search product

Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLIN) announced that a U.S.-based industrial bearing distributor has selected its HawkSearch platform to power product discovery within a BigCommerce eCommerce environment, according to a company press release.

The deal moved from initial contact to a signed agreement in 21 days, following a competitive evaluation against multiple other providers. The customer distributes industrial bearings and motion-control components, with buyers searching across technical specifications, part numbers, and dimensional data.

The existing search experience faced difficulties with unit of measure inconsistencies, SKU and part-number accuracy, and surfacing relevant technical content. HawkSearch will address these issues through unit of measure normalization, improved part-number search accuracy, and enhanced content discovery across data types.

The deployment will also include HawkSearch's Search Assistant, a conversational product discovery tool intended to streamline purchasing workflows. The implementation adds to Bridgeline's existing base of BigCommerce customers.
