Venture Global, Inc. (NYSE: VG) and German energy company EnBW have signed binding agreements for the purchase of approximately 0.82 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG), according to a press release from Venture Global.

The new agreements cover a period of approximately five years beginning in 2026, with supply drawn from Venture Global's portfolio. The deal adds to existing long-term sales and purchase agreements between the two companies for 2 MTPA over 20 years.

Venture Global CEO Mike Sabel said the new mid-term agreements "build on our strong, long-standing relationship with EnBW and reflects our commitment to meeting our customers' evolving energy needs."

Venture Global operates LNG production facilities in Louisiana, including Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG, with a third project, CP2 LNG, in development. The company claims to have over 100 MTPA of capacity in production, construction, or development.
