After-Hours Stock Movers:
NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE) fell 2% after it announced plans to sell $2.0 billion of equity units. Each equity unit will consist of a contract to purchase NextEra Energy common stock in the future and a 5% undivided beneficial ownership interest in a NextEra Energy Capital Holdings, Inc. debenture due June 1, 2029.
Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN) fell 2.25% despite reporting second quarter earnings that beat estimates, as guidance for new orders for the third quarter trailed estimates.
La-Z-Boy (NYSE: LZB) rose 11% after it reported EPS for its fourth quarter that was ahead of consensus estimates. Management said it expects to continue to outperform the industry in Fiscal 2025.
Chegg (NYSE: CHGG) rose 11% after it said it will reduce its global headcount by 23% to become a leaner, more efficient organization.
