Otter Tail Corp (OTTR) Tops Q4 EPS by 12c; initiates guidance

Otter Tail Corp (NASDAQ: OTTR) reported Q4 EPS of $1.37, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $314.31 million versus the consensus estimate of $319.48 million.

GUIDANCE:

Otter Tail Corp sees FY2024 EPS of $5.13-$5.43, versus the consensus of $4.54.

Our 2024 guidance reflects Electric segment earnings growth of approximately 7 percent and a decline in our Plastics segment earnings, driven by a continuing downward trend in sales prices and resin spreads, but partially offset by increased sales volumes. We expect declines in sales prices and resin spreads will occur throughout 2024 and into 2025."
