Astec Industries (NASDAQ: ASTE) reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $255.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $259.55 million.

• Backlog as of September 30, 2019 was $243.9 million, a decrease of $64.7 million or 21.0% compared to the September 30, 2018 backlog of $308.6 million.
