Smart & Final Stores (SFS) Misses Q3 EPS by 5c, Miss on Revenues; Lowers FY17 EPS Guidance Below Consensus
Smart & Final Stores (NYSE: SFS) reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.46 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.48 billion.
Third Quarter Highlights:
- Net sales increase of 4.5% to $1,457.4 million
- Comparable store sales increase of 1.5%
- Net income of $5.1 million, or $0.07 per diluted share
- Adjusted net income of $12.9 million, or $0.17 per diluted share
- Adjusted EBITDA of $62.9 million, an increase of 10%
GUIDANCE:
Smart & Final Stores sees FY2017 EPS of $0.43, versus the consensus of $0.49.
