Express (EXPR) Misses Q1 EPS by 2c; Guides Q2, FY16 EPS Below Views
Express (NYSE: EXPR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.25, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $502.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $522.73 million.
- Comparable sales (including e-commerce sales) decreased 3%.
- E-commerce sales declined 1% to $77.0 million.
GUIDANCE:
Express sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.15-$0.19, versus the consensus of $0.29.
Express sees FY2016 EPS of $1.41-$1.54, versus the consensus of $1.66.
