American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c, Offers Q2 Guidance

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) reported Q1 EPS of $0.22, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $749 million versus the consensus estimate of $731.38 million.

Consolidated comparable sales increased 6%, following a 7% increase last year.

GUIDANCE:

American Eagle Outfitters sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.20-$0.21, versus the consensus of $0.20.
