El Pollo Loco (LOCO) Misses Q1 EPS by 1c

El Pollo Loco (NASDAQ: LOCO) reported Q1 EPS of $0.17, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $94.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $96.79 million.

System-wide comparable restaurant sales grew 0.7%, including a (0.6%) decrease for company-operated restaurants, and a 1.8% increase for franchised restaurants.

El Pollo Loco reaffirmed FY2016 guidance.
