Golden Ocean Group Ltd. (GOGL) Posts Q3 GAAP Loss of 24c/Share

Golden Ocean Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: GOGL) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.24), $0.13 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $65.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $51.2 million.

The net loss in the third quarter includes (i) a loss of $2.3 million on sale of the Capesize newbuilding, Front Atlantic, and (ii) a vessel impairment loss of $7.1 million
