Gartner (NYSE: IT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.37, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $471.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $472.23 million.
On May 5, 2015, the Company’s Board of Directors authorized $1.2 billion to repurchase the Company's common shares. This authorization succeeds the Company’s prior $800.0 million share repurchase plan, which was fully utilized.
Gartner sees FY2015 revenue of $2.15-2.205 billion, versus the consensus of $2.18 billion.
