Quidel (QDEL) Numbers Slashed at Piper Jaffray; Longer-Term Investors Should Step-In

Quidel Corp. (NASDAQ: QDEL) is down 10% following weak Q1 results after the close; with EPS missing the consensus by 22 cents and revenue missing just as badly. Despite the miss Piper Jaffray analyst William Quirk thinks longer-term investors can still own the name.
