Tesla (TSLA) Issues Official Recall Related to Overheating Plug
January 13, 2014 5:17 PM ESTTesla Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) issued a formal recall for plug overheating during charging. The defect was found in less than 3% of 29,22 adapters, said Tesla. At least 6 overheating incidents were described on owner websites. Tesla will mail the replacement adapter to owners.
