Sirius XM (SIRI) Adds $2B to Buyback Plan
October 10, 2013 6:45 AM EDTSirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) announced that its Board of Directors has approved an additional $2 billion common stock repurchase program. Shares of common stock may be purchased from time to time on the open market and in privately negotiated transactions, including in transactions with Liberty Media and its affiliates. The Company will fund the repurchases through cash on hand, future cash flow from operations and future borrowings.

* Repurchase of 5.2% of outstanding Liberty Media common stock from Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA)
* Agreement with SiriusXM to repurchase $500 million of SIRI shares from Liberty Media
* Proposed private offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes (with initial purchaser option to purchase an additional $75 million aggregate principal amount) due 2023
