Analyst Encouraged by Eli Lilly (LLY) Cost Containment Efforts
April 24, 2013 1:15 PM EDTThis morning Eli Lilly & Co. (NYSE: LLY) reported Q1 EPS of $1.14, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.66 billion. Shares traded lower by nearly 3 percent in response.
