Rubico Announces Its Decision to Exit the Megayacht Sector and Redeploy Capital towards its Core Tanker Business
July 15, 2026 5:00 AM EDTATHENS, Greece, July 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rubico Inc. (Nasdaq: RUBI) (the Company or Rubico), a global provider of shipping transportation services specializing in the ownership of vessels, announced today that it has decided to divest its interest in its newbuilding megayacht currently under construction (the Megayacht) and to exit the megayacht sector. The Company intends to pursue a sale of the Megayacht, or of the entity that is party to the shipbuilding contract, with the objective of releasing capital for redeployment towards its core tanker business.
