Western Digital Authorizes Additional $4.0 Billion of Share Repurchases
February 3, 2026 8:00 AM ESTSAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Western Digital Corporation (Nasdaq: WDC) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized an additional $4.0 billion for share repurchases by the company pursuant to its share purchase program. As of February 2, 2026, the company had approximately $484 million remaining under the prior share repurchase authorization. The additional repurchase authorization is effective immediately. Share repurchases may be made on the open market or in privately negotiated transactions and may be made pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 plan.
