February 18, 2025 4:00 PM ESTReports recently surfaced that U.S. officials requested Taiwan Semi (NYSE: TSM) to consider acquiring Intel's (NASDAQ: INTC) U.S. factories, prompting speculation about a potential industry-shaping event.
