LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) today reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. Worldwide system sales, excluding foreign currency translation, grew 2%, with 6% unit growth and a 3% same-store sales decline. First-quarter GAAP operating profit declined 1% and first-quarter core operating profit grew 6%. First-quarter GAAP EPS was $1.10 and first-quarter EPS excluding Special Items was $1.15.
