Paychex (PAYX) slides despite earnings beat
December 22, 2022 10:07 AM ESTPaychex (NASDAQ: PAYX) shares fell early Thursday after the company reported its fiscal second-quarter results before the bell.
Paychex reported earnings of $0.99, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.95, while revenue for the quarter rose 7% year-over-year to $1.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.19 billion.
