October 24, 2022 2:14 PM EDTElectric vehicle maker, Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) released software update 2022.40.1 over the weekend, introducing improvements to Sentry Mode, Dog Mode, charging, radio stations, and driver door unlock mode.

Reuters compiled public data and projections released by these companies to show that the EV investment figures dwarf previous investment estimates by analysts and is more than twice the most recent calculation published by the site just a year ago.
