ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AVALONBAY COMMUNITIES, INC. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) announced today that Chaz Mueller has been appointed to the Board of Directors effective November 1, 2022. Mr. Mueller will serve as an independent director of the Company.
