Independent Bank Corp. Reports Second Quarter Net Income of $61.8 Million

ROCKLAND, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Independent Bank Corp. (Nasdaq Global Select Market: INDB), parent of Rockland Trust Company, today announced 2022 second quarter net income of $61.8 million, or $1.32 per diluted share, compared to 2022 first quarter net income of $53.1 million, or $1.12 per diluted share, and 2022 first quarter operating net income of $58.2 million, or $1.23 per diluted share, which excluded pre-tax merger-related costs of $7.1 million associated with the acquisition of Meridian Bancorp, Inc.
