Packaging Corporation of America Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2021 Results
January 26, 2022 5:41 PM ESTLAKE FOREST, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Packaging Corporation of America (NYSE: PKG) today reported fourth quarter 2021 net income of $217 million, or $2.28 per share, and net income of $262 million, or $2.76 per share, excluding special items. Fourth quarter net sales were $2.0 billion in 2021 and $1.7 billion in 2020. Full year 2021 net income was $841 million, or $8.83 per share, and net income of $894 million, or $9.39 per share, excluding special items. Full year net sales were $7.7 billion in 2021 and $6.7 billion in 2020.
