Lordstown Motors (RIDE) Stock Plunges on Delayed Launch of Endurance Electric Truck, Prompts BTIG to Downgrade to Neutral
November 12, 2021 5:49 AM ESTLordstown Motors (NASDAQ: RIDE) stock price is down about 10% after the company reported Q3 earnings.
Lordstown Motors reported Q3 EPS of ($0.54), better than the analyst estimate of ($0.59).
More importantly, RIDE announced a partnership with Foxconn that will see the latter acquire the Lordstown plant for $230 million. The plan is for Foxconn to establish a contract manufacturing agreement whereby Foxconn will manufacture the Endurance.
Moreover, Foxconn and Lordstown Motors signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to design and develop EVs for the North American market.
