Shares of Moderna (NASDAQ: MRNA) are down more than 13% in pre-open Thursday after the company delivered disappointing Q3 results and guidance.

Moderna reported Q3 EPS of $7.70, a handy miss compared to the analyst estimate of $9.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.21 billion.
