Whirlpool (WHR) Stock Slips on a Downgrade to Underperform at RBC, Analyst Says the EPS Peak Is In
October 25, 2021 8:40 AM EDTWhirlpool stock (NYSE: WHR) is down 2% in pre-open Monday after RBC analyst Mike Dahl downgraded to Underperform from Sector Perform and lowered the price target to $190.00 per share from the prior $208.00.
The analyst took note of market share losses in North America, while arguing that margins are set to drop in 4Q and 2022. Moreover, the industry volume growth is likely to subside, culminating in an EPS peak.
