Western Union (WU) Tops Q2 EPS by 1c
August 4, 2021 4:23 PM EDTWestern Union (NYSE: WU) reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion.
President and CEO Hikmet Ersek said, Our second quarter results put us on track to achieve our 2021 adjusted financial outlook with strong top-line trends bolstered by continued growth in our digital business, which we expect will generate over $1 billion in revenue this year, and sequential improvement in our retail business.
