August 2, 2021 8:27 AM EDTShares of Bloomin Brands (NASDAQ: BLMN) are up almost 4% after Deutsche Bank upgraded shares to Buy from Hold after the company reported very strong Q2 results last week.
BLMN share price gained Friday when the company reported its Q2 sales grew 86% YoY to $1.08 billion from $1.03 billion expected from analysts. Sales were boosted by a return to in-restaurant dining. Adjusted EPS of $0.81 topped the analyst consensus of $0.65.
"Q2 represented another quarter of strong results. We are well-positioned to grow sales and capture additional market share," commented CEO David Deno.
