U.S. Cellular (USM) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, Revenues Beat; Offers FY21 Revenues Guidance Below Consensus
May 6, 2021 4:08 PM EDTU.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) reported Q1 EPS of $0.69, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.64. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.02 billion versus the consensus estimate of $984.37 million.
"UScellular had a strong start to 2021," said Laurent Therivel, UScellular President and CEO. "First quarter service revenues increased, showing the positive impact of higher ARPU. Operational and cost discipline throughout the quarter also contributed to our strong financial performance.
