Cardinal Health reports third-quarter results for fiscal year 2021
May 6, 2021 6:55 AM EDTDUBLIN, Ohio, May 6, 2021 /PRNewswire/ --Â Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) today reported third-quarter fiscal year 2021 revenue of $39.3 billion, in-line with the third quarter of last year. Third-quarter GAAP operating earnings decreased 16% to $473 million, primarily due to the write-down of the net assets held for sale from the planned divestiture of the Cordis business. Third-quarter GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) decreased to $0.40, due to the previously-disclosed tax effect of the litigation charge in the first quarter.
