Webster Financial (WBS) Declares $0.40 Quarterly Dividend; 3.1% Yield
April 21, 2021 5:18 PM EDTWebster Financial (NYSE: WBS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share, or $1.6 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on May 19, 2021, to stockholders of record on May 5, 2021, with an ex-dividend date of May 4, 2021.
The annual yield on the dividend is 3.1 percent.

Webster Financial (WBS) and Sterling (STL) Announce All-Stock Merger of Equals
April 19, 2021 6:50 AM EDTWebster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS) ("Webster") and Sterling Bancorp (NYSE: STL) ("Sterling") jointly announced today that their boards of directors have approved by unanimous vote a definitive agreement under which the two companies will combine in an all-stock merger of equals transaction with a total market value of approximately $10.3 billion.
