Former HP CEO Whitman and NBA COO Tatum to Join GM's (GM) Board, Additions May Prove to be Critical Says Morgan Stanley
March 26, 2021 9:31 AM EDTGeneral Motors (NYSE: GM) announced two new high-level additions to its Board of Directors with the ex Hewlett Packard (HPE) CEO Meg Whitman and National Basketball Association (NBA) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mark Tatum joining to expand the Board to 13 members, 12 of whom are independent directors.
Our diverse Board of Directors is a competitive advantage for GM as we work to deliver a better, safer and more sustainable world, Barra said in a statement Thursday.
