Electronic Arts (EA) Beats Take-Two (TTWO) to Acquire Codemasters for $1.2bln
December 14, 2020 6:48 AM ESTElectronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) said it agreed to a $1.2 billion deal to acquire the UK game developer Codemasters. This way, EA beat the competition from Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO), who had previously agreed to a $970 million deal with the British company.
