New Oriental Education (EDU) Tops Q3 EPS by 13c, Revenues Beat; Offers 4Q Revenue Guidance Below Consensus

New Oriental Education (NYSE: EDU) reported Q3 EPS of $0.93, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $923.22 million versus the consensus estimate of $918.93 million.

Financial Highlights for the Third Fiscal Quarter Ended February 29, 2020

Total net revenues increased by 15.9% year-over-year to US$923.2 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2020.Operating income increased by 22.4% year-over-year to US$117.3 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2020.Net income attributable to New Oriental increased by 41.4% year-over-year to US$137.7 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2020.
