Marriott (MAR) Tops Q4 EPS by 10c, Revenues Miss; Offers Q1 EPS Guidance Above Consensus, Provides FY20 EPS Guidance Outlook
February 26, 2020 4:55 PM ESTMarriott (NASDAQ: MAR) reported Q4 EPS of $1.57, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $1.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.48 billion.
HIGHLIGHTS
Fourth quarter reported diluted EPS totaled $0.85, compared to $0.92 in the year-ago quarter. Fourth quarter adjusted diluted EPS totaled $1.57, compared to fourth quarter 2018 adjusted diluted EPS of $1.44. Reported and adjusted diluted EPS for the 2019 fourth quarter included the benefit of $0.32 of asset sale gains, partially offset by $0.26 of asset impairments.
