After-Hours Movers:
Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU)
Intuit shares fell 9% after hours as a downbeat full-year forward guidance disappointed investors. The real pressure stemmed from conservative fiscal year 2027 guidance, where Intuit projected full-year EPS of $22.88–$23.12 (missing Wall Street's $27.30 expectation) and revenue of $23.3–$23.5 billion (trailing the $23.74 billion consensus), driven by slower-than-expected TurboTax growth and ongoing platform restructuring.
Semtech (NASDAQ: SMTC)
Semtech shares gained 3% following a strong beat-and-raise Q2 performance. The semiconductor supplier delivered adjusted EPS of $0.71 on revenue of $341.9 million, easily topping analyst targets driven by surging 64% growth in its AI data center networking segment. Management issued Q3 guidance well above consensus, projecting revenue of $405–$415 million and EPS of $1.02–$1.08.
Spyre Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SYRE)
Spyre Therapeutics plummeted 16% after announcing disappointing topline clinical trial results. The biotechnology company reported that its Phase 2 SKYWAY trial evaluating SPY072 (a TL1A inhibitor) in rheumatoid arthritis failed to meet its internal efficacy threshold to advance as a monotherapy.
Zoom Video Communications (NASDAQ: ZM)
Zoom stock fell 3.5% despite delivering a modest Q2 beat-and-raise report. The video communications provider posted an EPS of $1.55 on $1.28 billion in revenue and nudged its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance up to $5.09–$5.10 billion. Profit-taking took hold as persistent growth normalization in its core online segment continues to limit major valuation expansion.
nCino, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCNO)
nCino fell 10% following the release of its Q2 results. While the cloud banking platform reported an adjusted EPS of $0.05 on $161 million in revenue, near-term top-line guidance barely matched expectations. Investors reacted negatively to a modest Q3 revenue outlook of $161.25–$163.25 million, raising concerns about elongated sales cycles across regional banking clients.
