Mettler-Toledo Intl. (MTD) Tops Q4 EPS by 10c, Revenues Beat; Offers Q1 EPS Guidance Below Consensus, FY20 EPS Mid-Point Views Below Consensus
February 6, 2020 4:30 PM ESTMettler-Toledo Intl. (NYSE: MTD) reported Q4 EPS of $7.78, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $7.68. Revenue for the quarter came in at $843.97 million versus the consensus estimate of $836.63 million.
Reported sales increased 3% compared with the prior year. In local currency, sales increased 4% in the quarter as currency reduced sales growth by 1%.Net earnings per diluted share as reported (EPS) were $7.84, compared with $7.11 in the prior-year period.
