PetMed Express (PETS) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c

PetMed Express (NASDAQ: PETS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.33, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $69.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $69.65 million.

Menderes Akdag, CEO and President, commented: We were encouraged with improvements to our reorder sales and gross and operating margins during the quarter. Gross margins improved by 130 basis points from 27.3% in the June quarter to 28.6% in the September quarter, and operating margins improved by 430 basis points... More
